getting involved has never been easier!
There are lots of ways that your school community can get involved in the work of foodbank PLUS, and we would love you to partner with us to support the local people of Shropshire.
Check out the ideas below and see our resources section for printables.

You could set up a donation point, for staff and students to donate to foodbank PLUS, or have a donation day where you encourage all students and staff to bring in one item. Bringing one item each and seeing the donations grow, is a great demonstration of the impact working together can be. To arrange bulk donation collections please contact us by email or phone.

It’s so important to raise the awareness and reduce the stigma around using community support like foodbanks, and what better place to share an impactful message than in an assembly! We can come and run assemblies or provide video resources for your school to help students understand what we do.

Christmas is a brilliant time to get involved with your staff, students and the wider school community. We run a reverse advent calendar where you give items each day to build a Christmas hamper. We provide all the resources you need on our Christmas webpage. Why not get your class involved in Christmas this year at foodbank PLUS?

Why not print off shopping lists and choose an item each to bring in as part of a donation day or event, staff and students can get involved?
We have an A4 printable of donation cards ready to print and send home with your class.
