Barnabas Community Projects (BCP) was established as an independent charitable company in 2014 to manage and develop the social action initiatives associated with Barnabas Community Church, Shrewsbury.

BCP currently runs a number of initiatives and employs one full-time and three part-time members of staff. There is a large and energetic volunteer base for our initiatives which operate primarily from the Base at Barnabas Church Centre.

Barnabas Community Projects is about changing lives and enriching community. We run a wide range of holistic and relational projects which seek to empower people on a journey of personal transformation.

All of the initiatives are carried out in accordance with Christian principles and practices, and in such a way that demonstrates Christian faith, care, and concern, and upholds the values of equality and justice. These values include integrity, accountability, inclusivity and equality.

Hence we aim to treat people with dignity and respect, and we will help anyone in need regardless of gender, age, ability, social status, sexual orientation, faith, ethnic group, or language.
